March 16th 2010 spin workout

This morning I felt strong like bull during spring mating season. Hit the sack early to power thru my Tuesday morning high VO2 intesity workout.. 4:30 am woke up, drank 2 strong cups of french press coffee-black of course. Following coffee I ate my typical Iron Man breakfast, an 8 oz steak and 2 cups of mashed potatoes (protein and carb load). While digesting my energy, I contemplated life and my existance here. We all know, to ride and run like a female machine.

Meeting the boys at the Y for grueling make up of road to roubaix. Grabbed the bike like a mom grabs her devious child in the grocery store and hopped on without looking back. Jared and Travis were already set with there A game, Jared had his double laced shoes on and bright yellow shirt reading "70.3 Iron Man"...got me going as I remember my days when I started with half Iron Mans, that was previous to my iron man days. Travis on the other hand, had his white shirt on, he is a demon on the bike but would admit to no one. During this hour ride, i felt exhausted but had to keep pulling. My legs felt like pistons and were almost detached from my mind as the ride took full force.

Today I will conquer a set of hill repeats. Will touch back
