Off Off and AWAY!

Its been awhile since I have been able to update anything on this bloggy blog...I was so busy with my last week home spending time with all my amazing friends and family, that updating a blog would have been a waste. I had the most amazing last week home that I could imagine possible, thanks to all of you! It all started as soon as I landed, my girlfriends got me a ticket (Thanx Karl and D!) to see my favorite band ever, The Cave Singers, play at the New Frontier Room. I almost forgot was a Guinness tasted like!! I was able to see the show, ride the bike, swim and run with my favorite tri friends (Karen, Ross, Lis, and George...Luv you fools!), celebrated a birthday (Waltro!), had lunch with my adopted dad (Hue), spend time with my fam clan (mom, dad, bro's, and sis), went snowboarding and had the best day ever, met some cool new peeps (one who I even get to hang with in Korea as he left a day before me!) went out to Lind's cabin and had a wine weekend with all my sexy lady friends, and celebrated my going away with my crew roughly 9 times.

After having the best week of my life with my favorite people doing my favorite things, it was slightly hard to depart. I did do some rummaging through some old pics, and decided to post some to bring back the good ol' days!

I have been in Korea now for just over a week, and couldn't be happier. I am working for SMOE, which is the government ran school program that hires English native speakers from countries all around the world to work in the public schools. The program is pretty intense, as you must go through a required orientation with all the other teachers, about 200 other amazing lads and ladys! We are all staying at a dorm together in the center of Seoul, taking classes on Korean Customs, Korean Culture, Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, etc...as if now, we do not know where we will be places in Seoul or even which school we will be teaching at...oh the anticipation!! We find out tomorrow, so I will post more in a couple of days!
