As I had mentioned, my blogs have been a bit delayed due to numerous reasons...internet not really working yet, being godly busy, and just being lazy...as I mentioned in a previous entry we found out where we will be teaching and living on the last day of S.M.O.E.....drum roll please...

Let me tell you a little about Gangnam...
Gangnam is located on the Southeast side of the Han River, right next to Apgujeoung-the Beverly Hills of Seoul. I don't really know all the exact facts, but after telling a few other Korean friends, they advised me I was going to be living in one of the richest neighborhoods in Seoul. Sweet! I originally wanted to leave my life as a Financial Advisor to get away from money money money, and I am yet again thrown into the middle of it. One of my afterschool classes will require me to help the students parents with their English skills...which involves many local doctors, lawyers, etc....atleast if I need some plastic surgery I will know where to get it.
My apartment is about 10 min on foot from the Han River, which is the epicenter for runners and cyclist of all ages. Being placed here was the best thing I would have asked for, as one of my biggest worries was being unable to ride my bike. I am just next to the Banpo Bridge, which at night turns into a bridge fountain...please see pic for example.
All of my friends are spread out all over Seoul, but as far as my closest friends they are about 45 minutes away....will touch back later!
Great! I'm so happy you were placed where you'll still be able to ride your bike. And that bridge fountain is incredible!!
