New job, new races, new goals, new year, new blog! I am absolutely terrible when it comes to updating blogs, and keeping others updated on my happenings...however I am making it a very strict goal this year to do so. I feel as though so much is going on and changing in my life, and so many exciting events are just around the corner..I want to get it all to keep not only myself in order but also those around me updated!
I had started a blog a year ago..but was too distracted with life to even post my updates and even when I did I felt as though they were nothing but nonsense. Therefore I am starting this new blog with goals of being more on top of postings and being more "serious" and having better intentions. So what things are around the corner for me...well lets see...
1. I just received the phone call from Erin Baker, an official Iron Man triathlon sponsor, that I made it on their triathlon team this year. I am very excited to represent them! I also get a deal on a very nice Kestrel bike, personalized coaching, and get to sport their team swag. http://www.bbcookies.com/shop/pages.php?pageid=29 Here is a pic of the 2010 team...don't their uniforms look cute!
2. Tour De Korea is just around the corner! I was training to qualify for the tour for months, the qualifying race was just a couple weeks ago which was a 80 km loop, and I made it! I am super pumped to race for the Banda Rosa team in Korea (previously known as Storck). The guys on the team are some of the most strongest riders in Korea and I am lucky to be able to spend 8-9 days with these guys! I love them! Here is a video from 2011~
3. Job front. Since I relocated back to Korea I have been actively pursuing a new career. Before I was a teacher in Korea, I was working as a Financial Adviser at a local bank. While away, I had time to think about where I want to go with my life...and with much contemplation I have narrowed in on something a little bit more physical: Police Department or Army. I am pursuing both of these paths and hoping while doing so I will keep you posted.
4. Friends! I am back in the Pacific Northwest with all of my besties! I look forward to camping trips, snowboarding, Seattle music shows, training, road trips, and just being back home with them! While in Korea I met tons of amazing people, but its nice to be back to my nerdy self with the people I know best. I am really excited to see my old group of best friends getting back together discussing "B Team" and how we will rule the world someday. I feel like this is going to be another summer to remember!

Hopefully you enjoy reading my blog!
