Training in Thailand Chaing Mai-Pai

The next day I road from Chaing Mai to Pai, which was about 80 miles. This ride was most definitively the most miserable, as I left later in the morning and had to ride over 30 miles under the sun, straight up a windy road. Once I arrived to Pai,I was so sick from the heat, and from the sun burning my skin (I sweat all of the suncreen off in like 5 minutes of my ride) I thought I was going to puke. I couldn't catch a bus back because I was too sick to get on it at the time, and by the time I felt better it wasn't running. I ended up having to pay a hill tribe kid to drive me home after begging a few travel agents to help me! The kid was awesome, he was about 13 (yes, and driving!) and told me all about his life living in the hillside of Thailand. His told me he was actually learning English, so was thrilled to help me. The route was breath taking. So even though I nearly killed myself, I would have done it again in a heart beat!
